Please enjoy some pictures of Japan that Tim has taken over the last 20 years.
These pictures were taken in January 2002. Many things have changed but the Koi were still spectacular.
A year on and the fish and people were just as good! 2003.
2004 was a massive year for the Koi industry.
The next set were taken during 2005. This was just after the huge earthquake that hit in October 04. Was total devastation but the Japanese worked so hard to get everything back to normal. We were lucky because we got passes to see the mountains. Hope we never see anything like that again.
2006 saw a great year in Japan. The recovory was well under way and the breeders getting back on their feet. The speed it happened was really good. The Government financed most of the breeders to re-build. Amazing.
